P-Clip Range

For maximum safety in industrial applications, Mikalor P-Clip clamps are manufactured to the exacting standards of DIN 3016.

The P-Clip hose clamps of Mikalor are ideal for clamping hoses, tubes, hydraulic hoses and cables, especially in environments where additional resistance to wear, heat and frictional fatigue is required.

Different shapes for different applications

There are several types of P-Clip hose clamps, of which Form D with EPDM rubber is the most widely used due to its versatility. However, both Form D, Form E and Form F can be customised with other rubber/rubber compounds to suit specific application requirements.

These variants allow greater flexibility in industries that require specific solutions for large diameters or extreme conditions such as high temperatures or prolonged exposure to corrosive agents.

As for the other alternatives, Form A, Form B and Form C, they retain a similar appearance to the previous forms, but in this case without the rubber coating around them.

Applications in key sectors

The DIN 3016 P-Clip hose clamps are widely used in industrial sectors such as:

  • Automotive
  • Industrial machinery
  • Railway industry
  • Domestic appliances
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration

Reinforced construction gives these hose clamps excellent strength, especially those rubberised to provide an extra layer of protection against wear in large diameter applications.

Rubber Options

To ensure optimum performance in a wide range of applications, our P-Clip hose clamps are available with different types of rubber, each with specific characteristics:

EPDM: Black coloured rubber with a thermal resistance of -40/+120°C. It is ideal for environments where acid and ozone resistance is required, although it is not recommended for use with petrol or oils.

Neoprene: With a heat resistance of -35/+100°C, this black rubber offers a balance of durability and chemical resistance, withstanding oil, petrol and acids. It is also flame retardant and abrasion resistant.

Nitrile: This black material also offers a heat resistance of -35/+100°C, making it ideal for applications where exposure to oil, petrol and diesel is constant, as well as moderate resistance to ozone.

Silicone: Available in grey, silicone has a wide heat resistance of -60/+170°C and is ideal for environments requiring thermal insulation and UV resistance. It is also highly resistant to ozone and retards ignition in the event of fire.

Each type of rubber has unique properties that make it suitable for different industrial applications.
