Filters for masks
The FMABEKP mask filter consists of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) spin-on cartridge with activated carbon and non-woven polypropylene (PP) inside.
Each filter, designed to optimize the field of vision, carries a color-coded label in brown, gray, yellow, green and white that identifies the type of protection it can offer.
Resistance to breathing:
According to their protection capacity, ABEKP filters are classified by the following classes: Class 1: Low capacity // Class 2: Medium capacity // Class 3: High capacity.
Filter protection capability FMABEKP (A1B1E1K1P3):
Type A. Protects from organic vapors with boiling point higher than 65ºC.
Type B. Protects from inorganic gases, except carbon monoxide.
Type E. Protects from sulfur dioxide and other acid gases.
Type K. Protects against ammonia and its organic derivatives.
P3. High capacity. Protects against particles of toxic products.
Use: Application of dyes, paints and varnishes, activities related to adhesives, inks and printing, spreading of fertilizers and chemical industry. Do not use in environments where the oxygen concentration is less than 17% of volume.
Protection A1B1E1K1P3: Filters to protect against organic vapors and gases with a boiling point above 65 °C. Suitable for protection against the following gases and vapors: nitrogen, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric dioxide, ammonia and organic derivative amines. They also protect against regular and prolonged use in the application of paints and the spreading of fertilizers. This filter can only be used in pairs with the MPF2 mask.
