Standard wall plug for cable ties
The standard nylon wall plug for cable ties creates a tie attachment point in concrete, solid brick, natural stone and sandstone. It combines a conventional plug body with two flexible, perforated upper wings, through which the cable tie passes to secure the item.
Made from polyamide 6 (PA6), the plug has lateral anti-rotation fins and a service temperature of −40 °C to +70 °C. The upper wings remain accessible after the plug is inserted into the drilled hole. Available sizes are 5 × 25, 6 × 30 and 8 × 40 mm.
Benefits:
- Accessible tie openings: The holes in the wings allow the cable tie to be threaded after the plug is positioned.
- Conventional anti-rotation body: Lateral fins help keep the plug in place during installation.
- Three installation sizes: Diameters of 5, 6 and 8 mm allow selection to suit the specified drilled hole.
